L7 Kicks Off 'The Last Hurrah' Final Tour: A Farewell to Fans
In a bittersweet announcement, L7 has revealed their final world tour, aptly dubbed 'The Last Hurrah Tour', set to launch in the U.S. on October 9. For over 40 years, this legendary band has been a force in the rock scene, blending punk grit with grunge melodies and socio-political commentary that resonates with fans old and new.
As they prepare to hit the road one last time, L7 is eager to connect with their loyal audience across the globe. The tour promises to be a celebration of their storied career, with stops in major cities including New York City, Washington D.C., Nashville, Chicago, and Seattle, culminating in a grand finale in Los Angeles.
Donita Sparks, the band's co-founder, reflected on the journey: "When we decided to release a documentary in 2015, we thought we might take one last victory lap around the sun by playing some shows. Instead, that lap turned into eleven more years of touring, sweat, new music, and reconnecting with the fans who made this all possible in the first place." She continued, "Looking out into the crowd and seeing longtime supporters rocking out next to a new generation of L7 fans has been the most powerful and humbling part of this chapter. We are deeply grateful and ready to give our audiences one last, loud, fun, and hopefully unforgettable night of rock and roll."

Their first album in two decades, 'Scatter The Rats', dropped in May 2019 via Joan Jett's Blackheart Records, proving that the band still had much to say and share with their dedicated fanbase.
As the 'Last Hurrah Tour' approaches, fans are urged to stay tuned for additional dates. This is a farewell for the ages, and L7 promises to leave it all on the stage one last time.
