Corrosion of Conformity Announces 2026 North American Tour with Whores and Crobot
Corrosion of Conformity have announced a new run of North American tour dates set for spring 2026. The influential North Carolina metal veterans will headline a series of shows across the United States and Canada with support from Atlanta noise rock outfit Whores and Pennsylvania hard rock band Crobot.
The tour will kick off with headlining performances in early April before the band joins Clutch for several dates during the run. Those shows will also feature JD Pinkus, known for his work with Butthole Surfers and the Melvins, as part of the lineup. After that stretch concludes, Corrosion of Conformity will return to headlining dates with Whores and Crobot supporting through mid-May.
The band is currently preparing to release a new double album later this year, which will serve as the follow-up to their 2018 release No Cross No Crown. According to the group, the upcoming record will feature a substantial amount of new material and marks their long-awaited return to the studio after several years focused primarily on touring.
Corrosion of Conformity have remained a powerful presence in heavy music for more than four decades. Originally formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982, the band began as a hardcore punk act before evolving into one of the defining pioneers of sludge metal and Southern-influenced heavy rock. Albums such as Deliverance and Wiseblood helped cement their reputation during the 1990s and continue to influence generations of metal and hard rock artists.
The upcoming tour follows a busy 2025 for the band, which included high-profile performances supporting Judas Priest and Alice Cooper. With new music on the horizon and a fresh run of tour dates scheduled, Corrosion of Conformity appear poised to continue their legacy as one of heavy music’s most enduring live acts.
