Black Label Society To Debut Music Video For Tribute Track “Ozzy’s Song”
Black Label Society will soon release a music video for “Ozzy’s Song,” a tribute track dedicated to legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne. The video is scheduled to premiere alongside a special livestream event celebrating the release of the band’s upcoming album Engines Of Demolition.
Frontman Zakk Wylde confirmed the video’s arrival during a recent interview, revealing that the song and visual release are part of the promotional campaign surrounding the band’s next studio album, which arrives March 27 via MNRK Heavy.
The track itself is a heartfelt homage to Osbourne, who gave Wylde his big break in the late 1980s when he joined Ozzy’s solo band as guitarist. Over the decades, Wylde became one of Osbourne’s closest collaborators, playing on several of the singer’s albums and tours.
To mark the occasion, Black Label Society will also perform “Ozzy’s Song” live for the first time during a concert at The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin on March 27. The performance will be livestreamed globally through the Veeps platform and will include the premiere of the official music video.
Engines Of Demolition marks the band’s latest studio effort and follows several singles released over the past year. Wylde has described the record as an emotional journey shaped by years of touring and personal reflection, with “Ozzy’s Song” standing out as one of its most personal compositions.
The tribute underscores Wylde’s long-standing bond with the “Prince of Darkness,” whose influence has remained central to the guitarist’s career and the sound of Black Label Society. With the upcoming video and album release, fans will get a deeper look at the song’s emotional message and the legacy it honors.
