Modern metal outfit Butcher Babies have officially released their latest single, "Lost In Your Touch," marking a significant stylistic shift for the band. Produced by the multi-platinum Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Seether), the track is the second offering from their forthcoming studio album under Judge & Jury Records.

While the band is known for their high-octane aggression, "Lost In Your Touch" leans into a more exposed and melodic sound. Vocalist Heidi Shepherd described the song as a deeply personal "love letter" to her past, specifically reflecting on a period of heartbreak a decade ago.

"Ten years ago, I watched the love of my life fall in love with someone else," Shepherd shared in a statement. "I watched him fill my shoes with another girl's touch... This song brings me back to those heartbreaking moments alone; reflecting, growing, and finding myself again."
A New Era for the Band

The upcoming album, which Shepherd describes as an "autobiography" of her last 25 years, is the band's first full-length effort since the departure of co-founding vocalist Carla Harvey in July 2024. The new music is being meticulously crafted alongside Benson and Neil Sanderson (Three Days Grace) at West Valley Recording Studios.
On the Road: 2026 Tour Dates

The release arrives as Butcher Babies continue a busy touring schedule for early 2026. After currently serving as direct support for Jeris Johnson on a North American trek, the band will head overseas later this month for a co-headlining UK/European tour with Infected Rain.
