Metallica Expands "Life Burns Faster" Sphere Residency Following Massive Demand
Due to what the band describes as "unbelievable demand," Metallica has officially added six additional dates to their upcoming 2026 residency at Sphere. Originally announced as an eight-show run, the residency has now expanded to a total of 14 concerts, making Metallica the first hard rock act to headline the high-tech venue.
The residency, titled "Life Burns Faster," will maintain the band’s signature "No Repeat Weekend" format. Each pairing of shows (Thursday and Saturday) will feature entirely different setlists, ensuring that fans attending both nights will not hear the same song twice.

While the original eight dates are confirmed for October, the specific dates for the six newly added shows have not yet been revealed. They are expected to be announced during the fan club presale on Wednesday, March 4.
