Deftones bassist - "this album is the best thing I have ever been a part of"

The Gauntlet recently caught up with new Deftones bassist Sergio Vega and chatted up the bands new album "Diamond Eyes" which will be released on May 4. "Personally this album is the best thing I have ever been a part of." stated Vega. "The experience I had making this record was amazing. I am so proud of this music and so happy to help represent it."

Sergio vega took over bass duties after longtime bassist Chi Cheng was in an auto accident and subsequent coma.
