Norwegian/American hard rock band TNT has announced the cancellation of their appearance on the Monsters Of Rock cruise scheduled for April. This decision was made due to guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø facing a serious medical condition that requires treatment in Norway.
The band shared that Ronni has been advised by his doctors to avoid long-haul flights for up to six months until his health stabilizes. Attempts to find alternatives, including using a substitute musician, were considered but ultimately declined.
Ronni Le Tekrø expressed gratitude for the support he has received and hopes to return to performing with TNT later in the summer once treatment concludes. The band emphasized that his well-being remains the top priority during this time.
TNT recently saw significant activity with the return of singer Tony Harnell, who overcame prostate cancer surgery in 2024 and previously battled thyroid cancer. Harnell rejoined the band in 2023 alongside Ronni and drummer Morten "Diesel" Dahl, with bassist Sid Ringsby also part of the current lineup.
The band's most recent album, XIII, was released in 2018 featuring vocalist Baol Bardot Bulsara. Baol debuted with TNT in 2017 when they opened for the Scorpions in Oslo, Norway.
