Rock band Rush, featuring original members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, announced their 2026 Fifty Something tour which celebrates the band's music and honors the late drummer Neil Peart. This tour marks the first time Lee and Lifeson will perform together since 2015.
As part of the tour's impact, Rush will allocate a portion of ticket sales to fund the Neil Peart Memorial in Lakeside Park, St. Catharines. The city is optimistic that these contributions, along with increased public interest, will help reach the $1 million fundraising target.
The Fifty Something tour will consist of multiple shows across Canada, the United States, and Mexico, beginning on June 7, 2026, at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Each concert will feature two sets of varied songs from a list of 35, including classics and fan favorites.
German drummer Anika Nilles will join Lee and Lifeson on the tour, adding her experience from collaborations with artists like Jeff Beck. Alongside tour plans, Rush also announced the release of 'Rush 50,' a 50-track anthology showcasing their extensive discography.
