Armored Saint Invites Fans to Star in Upcoming Music Video for New Single
Armored Saint is set to film a music video for a brand-new, currently undisclosed single this coming Saturday, February 21. The shoot will take place in the Los Angeles area and marks a major step toward the release of the band’s highly anticipated ninth studio album, which is tentatively scheduled to arrive in April 2026 via Metal Blade Records.
In a social media call to action, the band invited local fans to participate as extras, noting they are looking for a wide variety of "characters" to fill out the video's storyline. The casting request specified a need for a diverse range of looks, from gritty and "rough around the edges" to sharp, upscale, and even eccentric or "larger than life" personalities.
Vocalist John Bush has described the upcoming material as a sophisticated evolution of the sound heard on their recent albums, Punching the Sky and Win Hands Down. While the band is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their 1985 classic Delirious Nomad on their current tour, Bush emphasized that the new record is firmly focused on the future. He noted that the band aims to maintain their signature "Saint" identity while pushing arrangement boundaries and utilizing different instrumentation to ensure the album sounds like a 2026 release rather than a nostalgia piece.
