Guns N Roses Tour 2017 - Second Leg

SLASH Says New GUNS N' ROSES Music Is 'Coming': 'We've Already Written A Ton Of S***'

Guns N' Roses to release new album after writing extensive new material, with a major tour planned for 2026.

In a recent interview, Slash revealed that Guns N' Roses has already written a substantial amount of new music and is gearing up to enter the studio to finalize and record these tracks. He emphasized the band’s intention to focus fully on this process without distractions and anticipates the new material will emerge sooner rather than later.

The band recently released two new singles, "Atlas" and "Nothin'," which were produced by Axl Rose along with Caram Costanzo, who also co-produced their 2008 album "Chinese Democracy." These songs were reworked from previously unreleased material dating back to before Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined the band, offering the band an opportunity to put their own stamp on the tracks.

Despite releasing several standalone singles over the past few years, including "Absurd," "Hard Skool," "Perhaps," and "The General," Guns N' Roses have yet to announce plans for a new full-length album. Slash indicated that while these singles stem from older material, the forthcoming album will consist of completely new original songs.

Looking ahead, the band is preparing for a large-scale tour set to begin in the spring of 2026, covering numerous stops in North and South America as well as Europe. This tour will feature a notable return to the iconic Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, their first visit to the venue in over 30 years.

Guns N' Roses continues to maintain their prominence in rock music, with a legacy including the record-breaking debut album "Appetite for Destruction" and subsequent multi-platinum releases. Fans can expect a combination of new music and live performances as the band moves forward into this new phase.
