Malevolent Creation Bring Back Former Member

Malevolent Creation Florida death metal veterans MALEVOLENT CREATION have officially reinstated a five-piece lineup, announcing the return of Deron Miller on vocals and guitar. The group now consists of Miller (vocals/guitar), Jesse Jolly (bass/vocals), Chris Cannella (guitar), Ronnie Parmer (drums), and founding member Phil Fasciana (guitar).

In a statement released today (Saturday, November 29), the band shared the following update:

“It’s official! MALEVOLENT CREATION has returned to a five-piece, with Deron Miller back on vocals/guitar, Jesse Jolly on bass/vocals, Chris Cannella on guitars, Ronnie Parmer on drums, and Phil Fasciana on guitars. We believe this is the strongest path forward to preserving the classic MC sound. With three guitars, we can finally explore ideas we’ve long wanted to implement—three-part harmonies and the ability to bring back songs that haven’t been performed in years.

“We’ll begin work on our 14th studio album in January. There will be no live shows in 2026 (never say never), as completing the new record is our top priority.

“Join us in welcoming Deron Miller back to the band. This lineup promises to deliver an intense new album, ‘Return Fire.’”
