Aiden Announce Tour with H.I.M in May, Van's Warped Tour Summer 2006

When the Seattle Post-Intelligencer predicted that Aiden would "be taking the world by storm one day in the future" they couldn't have been more on target. Since the release of Nightmare Anatomy on October 4th Aiden has toured with Hawthorne Heights and 30 Seconds to Mars in the U.S. and the Kerrang! Tour in the United Kingdom, been featured in newsstand publications like Alternative Press and Revolver and has sold 61,000 copies of their Victory debut. A whirlwind of activity surrounds the band constantly, but never more than this week, when they announce touring plans in May 2006 with H.I.M., the entire Van's Warped Tour this summer, a new video for "Die Romantic", and the re-issue of their previous album, Our Gang's Dark Oath.



"What a dream come true, to have a band of their caliber notice the little guy and find it in their hearts to take us out with them? I couldn't ask for anything more, when this tour is said and done, I can die happy." This from singer wiL of Aiden, upon learning that the band had been chosen to support their heros in HIM this spring. Since "Nightmare Anatomy" broke Victory's label record for first week debut, with 5861 albums sold, Aiden has spread the word through live performances that are nothing short of incendiary. After closing out April with 30 Seconds to Mars they jet to the U.K. for "Give It A Name" festival and select tour dates April 29th & 30th. Following that, they return to the states to convert fans across North America with H.I.M. from May 2nd to June 6th, hop back over to the UK for June's Download Festival before heading out for the legendary punk rock summer camp of Van's Warped Tour.



During a short break between tours, Aiden filmed a new video for "Die Romantic" with director Shane Drake, who is known for his work with Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco. Using the movie "Constantine" as a jumping off point, the video centers around a half demon-half human who can influence individual decision making. The incubus is played by frontman wiL in his signature flamboyant style - which was effortless until some of the set props made their presence known. "They got these Asian cockroaches that were super scary, they would try to grab them and they would start hissing!" wiL laughed, "The shoot was rad because we got to do some hanging upside down from the rafters, that shit was awesome!" The new video will hit airwaves shortly.



Aiden's early recordings will soon be made widely available in stores as Victory Records re-release's their early album, Our Gang's Dark Oath, with all new artwork, on April 18th, 2006. The cd is enhanced with three great early Aiden videos, "Fifteen", "I Set My Friends On Fire", and Knife Blood Nightmare", making it highly collectible.
