Ice Nine Kills Joins Scream 7 Canon with New Single "Twisting The Knife"

Ice Nine Kills has officially slashed their way into one of horror’s most legendary franchises. Today, the band released "Twisting The Knife," a high-octane track featured on the official soundtrack for the upcoming film Scream 7. The single features guest vocals from actress Mckenna Grace, who stars in the new movie and brings an Evanescence-inspired melodic contrast to Spencer Charnas’s signature snarl.

Frontman Spencer Charnas described the song as a "tribute to Wes Craven," noting that the Scream films are baked into the band's DNA. The collaboration is a full-circle moment for Charnas, who recorded Grace’s vocals in his home studio right next to an original screen-used knife prop from the 1996 film. The track is set to play during the end credits of Scream 7, which hits theaters on February 27, 2026.

The accompanying music video continues the "INKverse" meta-narrative, featuring Roger L. Jackson (the voice of Ghostface) and a special appearance by franchise icon David Arquette.
