URIAH HEEP – MICK BOX To Miss “First Few Shows” Of The Magician’s Farewell Tour

Uriah Heep guitarist Mick Box will miss the initial Scandinavian shows, replaced temporarily by Sam Wood.

Mick Box, the guitarist for Uriah Heep, will not perform at the opening concerts of the band's Scandinavian leg of The Magician’s Farewell Tour due to illness. The tour is set to begin in Tampere, Finland.

Sam Wood, known for his work with Black Star Riders and Wayward Sons, has been enlisted to substitute for Box during this period. The band expressed gratitude for Wood stepping in on very short notice.

Band members and management are closely monitoring Box's health and expect him to return to the tour as soon as he is able. He has extended his apologies to fans for his absence.

The Scandinavian shows start January 22 and include multiple cities across Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark through early February.
