The Southern California legends return to reclaim their throne with a blistering new album packed with raw intensity and diverse sounds.

In a thunderous revival of Southern California's metal scene, HERETIC has announced the impending release of their latest album, 'Shape Of Things To Come', set to drop on July 24 through Candlepower Records. This 12-track juggernaut, produced by the skilled Steve Watson at Watson House Studios in Pasadena, promises a relentless journey through the dark alleys of heavy metal, showcasing the band's signature grit and ferocity.

Since their inception back in the 1980s, HERETIC has been a bastion of blistering guitar hooks and relentless grooves, spearheaded by the indomitable Brian Korban. In his own words, Korban emphasizes a return to roots, aiming to craft an album that pays homage to the classic metal titans while infusing a fresh spectrum of styles. “You will hear thrash, slow songs that end fast, an acoustic ballad, and medium-paced power riffs,” he asserts, hinting at the eclectic mix that awaits fans.

HERETIC first crashed onto the metal scene with their iconic single 'Impulse' on Metal Blade Records' legendary 'Metal Massacre VII'. The band's legacy grew with their early works like 'Torture Knows No Boundary' and 'Breaking Point', only to be reborn in the 21st century with the releases of 'A Time Of Crisis' (2012) and 'A Game You Cannot Win' (2017). Their story was further immortalized in the gripping 2023 documentary 'Don't Turn Your Back - The Story Of Heretic'.

Now, with a lineup that includes guitar virtuoso Brian Korban, the potent bass lines of Angelo Espino, and the fierce vocal prowess of Julian Mendez, HERETIC stands ready to unleash their sonic assault.
