The Absence drummer quits band

Absence, The Jeramie Kling, drummer for Floridian metal band The Absense, has left the band after five years together. Here's the official word from the group:

"After five years and two full-length albums, Jeramie felt that 'first and foremost the fans have to be thanked for their continual support and love.' Throughout his career with The Absence, Jeramie experienced 'repetitive blatant dishonesty' from band members that 'ultimately was taking away from the band's success and priorities.' At this point Jeramie no longer wishes to be associated with The Absence due to their 'pretentiousness and disregard' on a personal level and to the fans who put them where they are."

The Absence will reportedly honor all upcoming tour dates with a replacement drummer.
