Luna Mortis frontwoman Mary Zimmer discusses the female's in band gimmick

Luna Mortis The Gauntlet recently chatted it up with the lovely Mary Zimmer about a ton of topics including her thoughts on the use in women in a band as a gimmick. She responded "I think it has become one for several bands lately. I won't say which ones, but I think it has become one. There are so few women in the metal scene. There are women who aren't good at what they do so they just get a cute outfit or cute look and get out there. I think it ruins it for those of us who don't suck."

Be sure to read the entire interview here and check out their new CD, The Absence out now via Century Media.
