Arrogant foolishness

Grabbed his neck

Swallowed by the earth

In the bellowing deep

Where the walls are wet

He begins to weep

Suspended upside down

Blood fills the head

And makes him drown

His struggling for breath

Is the only sound

That precedes his death

In the cavern's embrace

Safe in the shadows' keeping

Lights are out

This is how it ends for you

No escape

Oh God I can't take it

Paralyzed

Loss of circulation

Human decay

Sliding faster, sliding further

He can't even feel his legs

Heart is working overtime

Pumping blood between his eyes

Echoes of despair

In the darkness, he'll keep well

The immortal frame, unchanged

Safe in his stone cocoon

For such a long, long time

No more harm can now befall him

An endless appetite

Flesh and sinew are consumed

Only bones to mark the passing

Sealed away from earthly woes

An itch to join him in my mind

To find the bliss far down below

I must go and try to find him

To make his cavern my new home

My hands are stretched in front of me

Now I will become joined to him evermore

Made immortal

I will die alone
