A journey through time to an alien land

Where am I now?  Where is this place?

Vaguely familiar this can not be

Oh so familiar, this can not be

Where are the forests? That covered the land

Where are the wolves? Who stalked the night

What are these poison? Raping our world

What have they done?  Do they not know?

Famine and destruction, death and despair

Political zombies who hold the power

Is this our future? This can not be

Hold the future?  This shall not be

What's the obsession? With material gain

What's this religion I cannot believe

What are the weapons that kill without skill

Why do people take it?  Why don't they resist?

Eradicate children, motives of thought

Respect for the land which has spawned you

Repair these evils this can not be

Open your eyes this cannot be

Who are these people? Who think they know all

Where is their conscience? These pitiless souls

Now children hunger, when the world is no more

Too late to know that, they can't eat their money.
