Leaving this life of your command

Supervised ev’ry step

Taking the air out of a breath

Time will not stop for you

Counting the clicks, the things you do

Rays to the senses blind

Close all the doors, leave them behind

In this moment left to share

Lights flicker crosswards

In this time when just lullabies resound

Sunken cheeks – abandoned time

Towards procession

Standing in the rain, feel the water fall

Clean the scars of this wretched thrall

Leave those years behind, rage’s sadness path

Abide the crown’s unfurling

Just be yourself

To break this heir of shells

War wounds that never heal

Possible fate they will conceal

Beneath the organ’s sound

Crosses- accursed watch tears appear

Encroached filth will mourn

Shaping their cuts with useless scorn

In this moment left to share

Devotions ascend skywards

In this time when just lullabies resound

Raised hopes – reprobate thoughts
