Black Mountain Lyrics

A dream of crimson waves...

Cascading mountains...

Though one stands above them all,

mighty and dark, casting its shadow...

A vista of ten thousand trees,

adorn the valleys beneath me...

A kingdom of my own creation...

Elegant black mountain,

whisper thy truths,

what lies behind the veil?

T'is magic and spells you bestow,

or malediction and scorn?

This journey is all to hold this realm in my hands...

Blinding is the light that shines upon me,

piercing the shroud of darkness,

as one by one the many throw themselves to the rocks below...

Higher and higher,

towering over the earth,

this mountain of mine,

sacred and draped in splendour...

Elegant black mountain,

whisper thy truths,

what lies behind the veil?

T'is magic and spells you bestow,

or malediction and scorn?

And though the climb may take me,

where all other life fears to tread...

this journey is all to hold this realm in my hands...

I shall carve my name in stone,

and turn my gaze to the horizon,

as a black sun is born to usher in a new era...

At the summit of this grand mountain,

I shall build my throne...

Ever casting an eye on this kingdom of mine, and all that I now possess...

At the summit,

of this grand mountain,

I shall build my thrown,

and claim all that is mine...

All that is mine...
