I watch out at the frozen lake

where we used to watch

the glistening water

skimming pebbles, admiring it's beauty

and now i stand here alone

my body feels so weak now

you've left traces in the snow

even though I follow the footsteps

they always lead me in circles

the last days of our neverending story

our journey has been concluded

and I am alone
