everyday I find myself

walking the empty streets

filled with faceless souls

carrying on with this purposeless existence

there is nowhere to go

faith has died, like it once came

ashes glide in the traction

of the cold wind

nobody exists anymore

only time can tell

how deep my wounds will get

years ago I wandered a world full of lies

all that's left to do

is to lay in a desolate crawlspace

to spend my time dying alone

because everyone ends up dying alone

it's better this way

being one with my sorrow

than walking the empty streets

of heartless creatures

and unacknowledged
