It all keeps falling apart

the ground crumbles beneath my feet

and the walls strip away

until all that's around me is just a void

there's nowhere to hide, no way to breathe

with the weight of a hundred bricks

crushing my chest

this place no longer holds any significant value

all meaning has been stripped and lost

and I wander aimlessly into this space

trying to find something to hold onto

there's no light in this world

nothing to see and nothing to find

no closure waiting at the other end

as there is also no exit

I can only wither in this empty space

such emptiness

these empty, hollow fragments

reach deep into my skin

penetrating my flesh

piercing all hope I once had

nothing left

no hope

no peace

no anything

it's just a bitter emptiness

eating away from the inside
