The sun begins to set

And it's the last one I'll see

For years on end

I've put my trust

In the comfort of life

My love for myself

Has run out

And I feel I am out of time

I grasp for breath

While I lay in a puddle

Of my own blood

On the shower floor

The sun pierced through the window

It's radiant beauty

Blinds my rage

As I am consumed by doubt

Everything fades to black

My vision begins to fade

Into non existence

Life was not meant for me

I welcome oblivion
