Samaritan Lyrics

Album: Sangreal

An Expert once Asked to the Teacher

What must I do to inherit Eternal Life?

You must Love your God and neighbor as yourself

But I don't Understand, Who is this Man?

So Listen to this Story very Carefully

You must Go and do likewise in your Life

A Day a Man was walking toward the Sea

When he Was attacked by three Robbers

They Stripped him of his Clothes beat Him

And went away, Leaving him half Dead

Agonizing He was close to Death

When People saw Him

Passed by on the Other Side

But a Good Man, as he Traveled, Came where the Man was

And when he saw Him, he Took Pity on Him

He went to him and Bandaged his many Wounds

Pouring with Oil and Wine To save Him

He put the Wounded Man on his own Strong Horse

They left that Place and reached an Inn

They rested all the Night

The next Day he took out two Denier

And Put them in the Hand of the Innkeeper

‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I will Return,

To Reimburse you for any your Extra Expense’

Then he Left for his Long Journey

And a Day he returned to Pay his Pledge

Now many Years have gone since he Met Him on the Road

The Old Good Man on his Deathbed saw a Door of Light

Three Angels appeared to Him to bring Eternal Life

With Golden Wings he flew into the Kingdom of God
