Covered in filth and unrighteousness

Sin has engulfed me once again

Satan's projections have hammered me to the ground

The torment has begun from within

Unholy condemnation begins to attack

My transgressions have dealt a heavy blow

Deep in despair I fall to the ground

As the Spirit ministers grace unto my soul

As conviction sets in, I confess my sin

Christ is faithful to forgive me

The justice of God was satisfied on the cross

The Son of God has taken my penalty
