From worm to man

But still blind

To the ascribed

We capitalize

Nothing ever mattered

Every life despised

Try to organize my thoughts

But were they ever mine?

Manipulated logic

How can I survive?

Sacrifice my values

Or sacrifice my mind?

Depression breeds inside

Detached from mankind

The hand of man plucks the final leaf

Leaving nothing but dirt behind

Clinging to the familiar

Beliefs that will kill again and again

Never acknowledged and never forgiven

Cursed with a life created by somebody else

The ghosts of progress dissolve

Leaving a barren and meaningless land

With the hands taken from my eyes

I'm free to create a beautiful death

Enlightened by lucid perception

There never existed a reason at all
