Ingesting sickly creatures

My pseudopods engulf

Slime will conquer all

Oozing malice given form

Oxygen deprivation

Painful slow digestion

Ensnared within me

No hope of rescue

Or escape

As paralysis takes its hold

But the agony remains

Starting to suffocate

Eroding the skin
