~In the second digestion the Spirits of the Unlords walketh upon the liquid acid; the unlight begins to appear, and a separation of Acid from the Dark matter of the universe occurs; Sulphur and Mercury are renewed; the elements are extracted out of the Khaos, that being perfectly mixed in Spirit they may constitute a new dark world; a new obscene Heaven and new uninviting Earth are made; and lastly all bodies become spiritually crippled. The Crow's young ones changing their feathers begin to pass into Dragons; the Wyvern and Manticore embrace one another in an eternal League of despair. And this generation of the World is made by the fiery Spirit descending in the form of Antimony, and wiping away Original goodness; for the Philosophers' acid is Magma. But see that the separation of Acids be done in Fear and Terror, lest those things that remain under Heaven be drowned under the Earth, or those things that are snatched up above the Heaven, be too much destitute of aridity. Here let slight Kosmos asunder… leave a barren Soil.~
