tearing down the peace of the

night – so loud,

came roaring treads, marching wall of

guns – point blank,

disperse now, resist or die

Side by side,

the ground was soaked with

Blood of the innocents, unwavering ones,

rejecting the iron hand, tyranny’s claws,

standing as one in the face of the threat,

served by none other but sovereign’s hands
