a blanket of optical comfort, this place,

a world imagined, a reality fashioned

clues to conclude a curious case

A look in the mirror so suddenly a fear you're

not something you thought you once were

a startling conclusion, a wall of illusion

You're trying to escape the spell you've been under. . .

Theres nothing to wake up to now

Reality just wont allow

In glorious endeavor, you contemplate "forever",

The colors and the sounds such a beautiful display.

You drink up, you drop out, but you'll find nothing without

A deeper understanding, and so you drift away

Your family and your friends say your happiness depends

upon the life that you lead.

But how could they have known

You wish to break these chains so that you might be freed

I like it

They repulse me

This light will blind
