The emptying of an elder soul,

torn apart by endless aeons,

has set this life to roam the depths of despair,

and find its way to rejoin the darkness.

Behold the barren lands!

A pair of hands holding nothing.

A tongue that speaks no words -

it screams in pain.

This ineffable fate

of senses unbeknownst,

now embedded in our cells,

draws us close to the abyss.

Carrying the weight,

lying in wait

for a voice I cannot hear.

Father, I renounce to this body!

A feast for the worms.

Quench my thirst,

take my spirit in thy hands.

Show me there is nothing.

We're but a vessel for a chasm,

unsurpassable, devoid of light.

On my way of sorrows,

I bleed to death,

seized by doubt, tainted by fear,

abandoned by all earthly or divine.

All mine are yours, and yours are mine.

I am no longer in this world.

I walk along the valley,

alone, afraid

I reach out and above

and silence reigns;

there is no answer

but a deep, dark void -

nothingness.

Feed me to the shallow Earth,

bring me the end, the final gate.

I long to see the skies turn black

over my head and embrace the night

everlasting.
