Silence and cold

Surround us as we stand together

Hand in hand on the ruins,  on the highest manmade mountain

These cities fell the first – We are here with no fear

I know the end is here

I can’t feel my fingers, I can’t see your eyes

I know the end is here – Life eclipsed

I still hear you breathe, I still feel your heart beat

Above all this ruin, out of reach, untouchable

Glooming its toxic light, laughing at us with its mocking smile

Burns the sun as black as the night – As cold as winter time

Stay with me, don’t fall asleep, stay with me and breathe

Stay with me, though your heart is frozen,

Stay with me even though the sun is broken

The sun eclipsed

Earth is now

Free from the solar orbit, drifting in emptiness

Exposed to the cosmic void and radiation

It’s been a thousand years since the sun died away

The two souls entwined still watch fall of the night
