Creation’s perfection

Full of wisdom and

Bestowed with radiant beauty

Once you lived in Eden

Walked among the fiery

Stones and were adorned with

Jewels on the Mount of God

You were blameless in

Your ways from your creation

You were the guarding Cherub

And were ordained by God

Then wickedness and violence

Were found to be in you

You were driven and

Expelled from the Mount of God

When your heart became proud

Enticed by your own beauty

Then you were corrupted

And cast down to earth

Now the nations are

Appalled at your disgrace and

You are a spectacle before

The kings of men
