I have created the fire

and I have burnt thousands of forests

for many centuries,

unbelievers and heretics have died

perishing in the flames of our intolerance

stone by stone, i have built civilizations

war after war, alone I was lifeless landscapes

dispelling my hopes, all my fears

I have harvested an uncertain future

refusing to believe in love, i have given birth to hate

everything seems to fade, everything's lost

I have shedded many tears that I can't keep within me

in these waves of illusions, the hopes i have drowned in

jealousy and envy plunge our world into chaos

the first pictures of my life has amazed my eyes

they became wet, the become blind

shameful tears, for all that I have destroyed
