Waking up from a nightmare

Hundreds of eyes peer as I stare

Shadows cast over my frozen face

The fires burn oh so bright

While humanity leaves my sight

Silently awaiting more death

The stench of bile fills my nostrils

Crawling from the torment

Left black and blue

The eyes peer forward

Chains break from filthy walls

Marching from behind

Standing on broken bones

Blood descends from trees

Human waste fills the breeze

Endlessly forgotten

While the eyes can see

These worthless creatures

Are left behind from their mistakes.
