First came the Winter of Winds

Snows drove down from the sky

Storms announced the end begins

The day will come when gods will die

Then came the Winter of Sword

Men robbed and slew just to eat

In all world just death and discord

Of corpses and gore all land were replete

The Winter of the Wolf came at last

Then the old witch has fed the beast

Remains of men who in battle have passed

Were for the wolf a luscious feast

Fimbulwinter the harbinger of death

The days of darkness are about to arrive

The gods will take their last breath

No one on earth will be left alive
