From the Waters Leaps the Howling Creature Lyrics

Far down from the deepest dark hole

Where moss grey boulders hump above the mould

A curious drops, disquieting fall in the rotten spine

Sprayed up from an unseen streams in gulfs inside

Straight in my path, a monstrous mound appeared

Till suddenly sounds of winds emanate from an alien tree

Sucking me back to the dream inside the transient sphere

From the hidden and silent place rises a slowly brightening face

Through the glory and torment the night hued a lone shone

The Morning star, so bright, on sight as never of old

Traced the pictures on the quivering air, memories of my sorrow

Out of the cosmic dome they shall come, in ray´s call from afar, my old lost home

A certain ancient thing more than a trace, a dark dim essence more than form or face

A tenuous aether although indeterminate, linked with all the laws of time and space

Now out of reach possesing hidden keys, find the faint untouchable signs of eternity

High moon, descended again, broke the light till the night was dominant

Still acheing my soul with a great pain, all the crags of the uplands were in grey

Where dark sand was far stretching to the shore, walking dim pathways and rocks I recalled

Sadly for many years in the lost nevermore, in darkness was the morning of my youth

As the breeze over the brine, high on the cliff over the waters I stood in sight

A dread sound come along, from the waters leaps the howling creature

With flaming orbs the creature flies, and chants with a hellish voice a hungry cry

Coming gently in silent bound, with a fixed purpose over the wet ground

When a frantic wind cast its horrid wail, and mutters madly through the lifeless frail

Then a nameless thought fulfills the air, leaping the mad wolf whom seizes on my flesh
