Through the Woods Lyrics

Through the woods a lost man walks

Behind bushes a lone wolf stalks

On this dreaded night

The full moon’s shining bright

As the man wanders

The wolf begin to hunger

With a crack of thunder

The man is taken under

The wolf attacks

The man draws back

Only after being bit

Does the man win by clubbing it

A month later when all is well

He views the blood red moon

Fur grows and the man yell

The next morning the town lies in ruins

When he emerges from the rubble

Realizing he created all this trouble

He goes into hiding

But the inner beast is biding

Casting himself into exile

For becoming so vile

Forced to live his life accursed

Praying it won’t get any worse

In the night

Full moon bright

I divide

Woods forlorn

Clothing torn

I transform

Claws quicken

Fur thickens

Fangs sharpen

Through the woods an old man walks

Behind his soul a werewolf stalks
