In a village, so far There lies a frail girl Always there but never near Her body covered in vines tells stories of fear Her eyes of blue whisper secrets of her fears She’s incapable of care But still has a tasteful fear Her eyes show the price of tears She’s been there for years If death is real why not take her away Incapable of care and unable to move In her mind patience is abused Always laying never waking Everyday her mother says “I love you dear” And her father was never near On a cold and snowing night The little town worried For they had no way of saving the girl Until someone shouted “I’ll save her! They looked at him as if he were dead But despite their protests the man went to save the child He grabbed her by her arms entangled in fear Her body was pulsing but her eyes did not open And as the man was trying he felt her heart drop Despite their efforts The reaper had won That girl would never live another day Incapable of care and unable to move In her mind her patience is abused Always laying never waking Everyday her mother says “I love you dear” And her father was never near
