i slowly step into the shivering waters

as they embrace me with a deafening tide

"fear not!" cries an ethereal voice from above

"let go!" says the feeling inside

i shall inhale the liquid,

being breathless and disconnected from a life-source

i want to see through the waves

to find a path to survive

the waves lead me from a lake into an ocean

through a river, granted by nature with life

i fear the new tides, i fear the force

as the unknown, for i fear that it will leave me to die

but i feel that i am breathing in air

glinting with a million flares

once a blissful soul,

racing from a distant world

seeking a new home

in countless sparks of love...

i am brought into this world

a newborn child, one of the countless destinies
