Falling slowly, grey like the rain clouds overhead,

Sad and lonely, quietly crawls back to her bed

Rainy Sunday, voices are loud inside her head,

Silently screaming but nothing said

Sighing deeply, warding the madness from her mind,

Gently weeping, mourning the loveless of her kind

Softly whispers all of the prayers that she can find,

Pining the blindness she left behind

Sad and tired, alone she started crying

Tears upon her tattered shreds of pride

Deep inside she felt that she was dying

For her soul had nowhere else to hide

Still raining on still waters,

No small island, no warm fire

And her future had no promises,

Watch the creature fail and slowly die

To drag her from those lost causes
