Am I still alive or is that just how it seems

This unearthly glow tells me, I’m beyond the grave

Here where spirits linger

I will find her at last

Everywhere spirits roam aimlessly

Finding her might take an eternity

Pushing through I realise a thing most absurd

Confusion and chaos are not just for the mortal world

Who knows where to go

Could it be Heaven or the Inferno

Ascension or descent

Not knowing the divine intent

A deathly glow lingers in their eyes

They see me but show no sign of surprise

I thought they’d know I’m from the other side

Could it be that I have actually died?
