Waking up in my bunk but not alone
Wide open eyes are staring at me
“How can it be, that he’s still alive?
No one should survive such brutality”
Dead tired and I can hardly move
Yet I feel my wounds are healing
Deep inside sinews and muscles grow
I try to stand but still my head is reeling
The pain doesn’t cease
I pray for death’s sweet release
I will go with ease
If only I can find peace
Something pulls me back
From the Brink of Mortality
Filling me with life
On the Brink of Mortality
Back from the dead, how can that be?
I’m alive but my body’s been broken
He told me that I should wander endlessly
Is there some arcane truth to those words spoken?
Dead tired and I can hardly move
Yet I feel my wounds are healing
Deep inside sinews and muscles grow
I try to stand but still my head is reeling
Back from the dead, how can that be?
I’m alive but my body’s been broken
He told me that I should wander endlessly
Is there some arcane truth to those words spoken?
The pain doesn’t cease
I pray for death’s sweet release
I will go with ease
If only I can find peace
Something pulls me back
From the Brink of Mortality
Filling me with life
On the Brink of Mortality
Something pulls me back
From the Brink of Mortality
Filling me with life
On the Brink of Mortality
