As the day evades the night
So silent lies the perished landscape
At the gates of meanly dwelling
A visitant of judgement enters
Made of bliss and golden light
They were five by number
Grudging effigies ten eyes frozen
Staring from the otherside
Hidden in the hollows
What is above shall remain above
What is below shall remain below
Their brethren well concealed
With no sense for lurid beauty
Malformation, deformation
Unsightly hideous duty
And so the words were spoken
Into the gleaming faces
Their pristine spirits broken
With a glimpse of forlorn graces
What is above shall remain above
What is below shall remain below
And so the wretched spawn fades
Drawn into the depths of the dark earth
A tomb under a moonlit megalith
Gnarling spells and hexes
Gorging roots and debris
Rustling limbs and corpses
Screeching cuss and curses
Lurking hell and haven
Bracing fear and terror
Never to wander along the green
Never to linger beyond the silence
But always bound by force
Stone and dust above
Never to smell the air of autumn
Never to rise with the gust of spring
Always cursed to seek and to creep
And to nourish the blaze
The blaze of burning desire for salvation
Deep inside the lair, with thoughts of vengeance
Keeping their dead eyes on lucid dreams
