Eyes snap open, lungs ignite.

Veins are burning, hands constrict.

Dragged awake into the void.

Searing hands around my throat,

I wake to find my breath revoked.

Muscles tighten, vision blurs,

Darkness calls, but pain recurs.

Suffocation, crushing weight,

Pulse dissolving under hate.

Flashing stars behind my eyes,

Welcoming my slow demise.

Awakened! Back to sleep!

Ripped apart but pulled too deep.

Screaming silence, dying breath,

A waking dream of endless death!

Fingernails carve through my skin,

Lungs collapse as black seeps in.

Fading echoes, distant screams,

Death won't grant its silent peace.

Steel embrace, hands of doom,

Flesh turns violet, face consumed.

Yet I wake to taste the curse—

Endless cycles, growing worse!

NO! NO!

Let me go, let me sleep,

Leave me drowned in the black so deep!

Eyes forced open, breath denied,

Dragged awake just to die!

Awakened! Back to sleep!

Torn from death but forced too deep.

Endless cycles, no release,
