Painted Paradise Lyrics

As I lay sheltering from the causatum of earthly trauma

The winds of tragedy continue to blow

The landscape with a blanket of gloom

Society lies dormant in the path of metaphysical deterioration

Unbeknownst to them the grave reality of their misfortune

I choose to hide from calamity, surrounding myself with gracious color

Using artistic endeavors to paint my scenery with a newfound hope

Eden lies beyond a mortal's grasp

I plan to paint it closer unto reach

Paradise awaits for those who chase it

I quest to pave the ornamental path

The ruins of man's futility is the canvas

I'll use to create a beautiful portrait

Is it naive to believe that the throes of survival

Can be colored in with artistic passion?

To bring comfort to an otherwise grim reality?

I'll quest to bring color back into this grim world

And make it my Painted Paradise

The ghostly essence that brought about a plague on

His cursed soil gleams at me with its eyes of malice

Entertained by my protagonistic composure towards the

Calamitous conditions that the world currently resides in

It taunts my efforts of purifying the Earth it wishes to claim

The excited nature of carnal destruction

Pouncing in glee to the chaos it's created

Will be damned if it's malignant forces were to

Be stopped by the efforts of a mortal man

I choose to hide from calamity, surrounding myself with gracious color

Using artistic endeavors to paint my scenery with a newfound hope

Eden lies beyond a mortal's grasp

I plan to paint it closer unto reach

Paradise awaits for those who chase it

I quest to pave the ornamental path

Is it naive to believe that the throes of survival

Can be colored in with artistic passion?

To bring comfort to another wise grin reality?

I'll quest to bring color bach into this grim world

And make it my Painted Paradise

Magnificent portrait

Of which I am so proud
