As the light is dragged away

Into distance far away

A final spark hope in the end

Blue and black the abyss blent

As the birds of brightly shine

Form again bright in the night

In darkening skies pale they fly

Blue blends black high in the sky

The veil of black is pulled overhead

The sun so distant for night she has set

And as night falls nocturnal ghosts search down here for sylvan hosts

Within the dark and sacred trees, dwells the knowledge of thousands of years

As the wonders of the night in deepest woods and in the sky offer me my nightly bane
