Once they told a strange legend

that our Mother Earth

only was the egg of a mighty bird.

Living in the eternal cosmos

with eyes like glowing fire

waiting for the day the egg would burst.

But no one thought this tale was true

that the day would come

when the hellish brood would blast the world.

But when the earth was plagued by

earthquakes

the last doubts faded away

that the time of birth was finally near.

Their minds were caught by anxious feelings

the monstrous bird was coming

and all the time of birth was coming

and all the days and nights they watched

the sky.

Then one day a mighty figure

was darkening the sunlight

the bird Tharsis was hovering over the world.

A roaring sound is getting nearer

Tharsis' appearance moves the space.

Sunset comes its shadows moving

irresistibly to the earth.

Shall this hellish brood

destroy our world?

The shadow overturn the nature

the mighty time has lost its worth.

Day and night associate

an endless night surrounds the world.

Shall this be the end?

The Chief Expert of Atomic Research:

Measurements have all just proves

the brood has nearly grown up

and sure is gonna hatch in seven days.

Mankind:

so dangerous but our last chance to survive.

Mankind:
